While looking for Arrun, Morlaf and Osgoth go into a screaming woman’s shop to rescue her baby. Morlaf uses chaos and summons a small air elemental instead of a source of light. Attempting to kill it they slay the woman with a poorly aimed shot-put throw instead. They flee the crime and leave the baby to the monster.

Arrun identifies the shrine at Borderdale to be that of Ehlona.

Arriving at Stripshire the place seems deserted. Noises at the back of the town elder’s house they enter and see that many of the town folk are prisoners of a small kobold force. Osgoth hacks down four while Morlaf takes out the leader. Hydrix loots the house while Ulalume persuades the last two to leave with Morlaf’s squid.
